Members of South London Gallery's Art Assassins were interviewed by the radio station Reprezent on the occasion of their exhibition in March 2011. They talk about the group and the motivation behind their show, which explores ideas of immaturity. http://www.southlondongallery.org/page/immature
To help them generate ideas and images for their work, the Art Assassins began by playing a game of word association....
Having come up with ideas for their flms, an inviting other artists to participate in the exhibition, the Art Assassins then had to plan and manage installing the works in the gallery. Come behind-the-scenes and see what was involved.
On 17 March 2011 artists Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard took part in a Q&A with South London Gallery's young people's forum the Art Assassins discussing immarity and art. The event was part of the opening night for the Art Assassins's exhibition Immature. Iain and Jane's exhibition, PUBLICSFEAR was at the South London Gallery from 4 February to 18 March 2011.
