Your project has been chosen by Art Licks Editor Holly Willats as one of her Critic's Picks for June/July. Congratulations!
This is what Holly had to say about your project:
"A cocoon is something that envelops and protects - and despite the stark visuals of the piece, there isn't a feeling of violence or aggression but a strange feeling of calm and beauty. Would love to see more!"
Thanks, for the comment.
The whole idea of this sculpture was to create a mystical form that would act as an alien womb, an unidentified being which ultimately lives. Therefore, the idea of creating a kinetic motion within my cocoon, whereby blood drips through the ceiling into the cocoon and then the floor, is vaguely showcasing the cycle and process of life.

Hi Rohit,
This is a really visceral yet beautiful work. Can you tell me more about it?
